Muscles rely on calories in order to grow. Following a bodybuilding diet is a great way to promote muscle growth. This involves eating five to six small meals every day. The type of food that you eat at each meal will also make a significant difference in what you are able to achieve. While you don’t want to overdo it with protein, you will need more protein than someone who lives a sedentary lifestyle. Healthy high protein foods include beans and legumes, lean meat, fish, quinoa, and nuts. Be sure to also include complex carbohydrates and whole foods in general as well.

Heat grill. Combine lemon juice, chili sauce, Dijon mustard, basil and parsley in a baking dish; mix well. Place chicken in a baking dish. Cover dish and marinate chicken in refrigerator for 5 minutes. Drain marinade. Grill chicken over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Bake sweet potato in a microwave for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve chicken with baked sweet potato topped with pecans, broccoli and side salad.
